Our Story
A skincare brand born from a desire for health and hope
Noelani Skincare began with a personal journey toward wellness. Struggling with fertility in my early 30's, I became disillusioned with mainstream skincare after learning how many conventional products contained harmful ingredients—such as phthalates in fragrances and hormone-disrupting UV filters—that could negatively impact fertility and breast health.
To take back control, I began formulating my own skincare in my kitchen—choosing every ingredient with care. Three years into this passion project, I woke up one night with absolute clarity and purpose: I felt called to create a skincare brand that would allow women to experience radiant, healthy skin without compromising their long-term health.
After four years of formal training in organic skincare formulation and three more years of research and product development, my dream has finally taking shape. I am so proud to present these products to you — made with intention, integrity, and love.
A passion for the skin microbiome - sparked by my children’s journey
The microbiome became a central focus of my work through motherhood. Both of my sons were born via cesarean section and struggled in their early years with digestion and persistent skin rashes. Searching for answers, I discovered the healing power of probiotics—and with that, a deep passion was born. I began studying the human microbiome and the incredible role of prebiotics, probiotics, and fermented foods—not just in gut health, but also in skin health.
This understanding became the heartbeat of Noelani Skincare. Every formula is crafted with 100% natural origin ingredients and includes microbiome-supportive elements like prebiotics, postbiotics, and fermented botanicals—because when the skin’s ecosystem thrives, so does its radiance and resilience.
From Hawaii to Switzerland - with love and reverence for nature
I grew up amongst the pristine beaches and the lush rainforests of Hawaii. That early connection to nature—salt air, wet earth, wild blossoms—shaped my spirit. As an adult living in cities, I missed that deep rootedness and sensory bond with the natural world.
In my twenties, I moved to Switzerland for love. And as I explored the breath taking Alps and wildflower-covered meadows, I rediscovered that soulful connection to nature. I studied herbalism and became captivated by the healing potential of Swiss medicinal herbs. At the same time, I felt a renewed pull toward the powerful tropical botanicals of my Hawaiian heritage—plants that have been used for generations to nourish, heal, and protect the skin.
Every product in the Noelani Skincare line blends these two worlds: Hawaiian and Swiss botanical ingredients come together in each formula, crafted to restore a sense of connection to nature—no matter where you live.
