Whenever possible, we source our botanical ingredients
directly and work with small producers and wild harvesters whose practices
align with our values. We seek out fair trade and permaculture-based suppliers
where available.

Many of our active ingredients are derived using processes designed to use resources efficiently and minimize waste. For example, we have chosen naturally derived peptides produced through fractionation, selected upcycled ingredients that make beneficial use of by-products from the food and agricultural industries, and plant stem cell actives that provide an alternative to harvesting certain plants in the wild.

We have selected glass containers, refillable acrylic components, recyclable plastic containers, and paper packaging made with recycled and recyclable materials to help reduce packaging waste. We print directly onto our containers to avoid the need for separate adhesive labels.

As soon as possible we plan to offer refill pods for our Bakuchiol & Noni Moisturizer as well as upgrade our Prebiotic Powder-to-Foam Cleanser bottle to be refillable with a refill sachet.
